This is what happens when Eastern Sprints are over, our doubles selection hasn't started, and I have absolutely nothing else to talk about. Personally, I think that the Belamy Road was to blame for the Yankees underperformance in the beginning of the season. That, and the fact that their pitching staff is, on average, 102.5 years old.

We all joke about dying on the river, and only leaving the boathouse feet first. When it happens to someone a year away from their college graduation, it's not funny at all. I did not know Scott Laio, though I am sure we've rowed past each other many times in the past three years. My condolences to his family, friends, and teammates.

Yeah... Good times, good times.

Now, just so that this isn't too self-centered, some members of the studio audience did perform quite well, so congratulations are most definitely in order--you know who you are. :)

When the masking tape was removed this afternoon, shockingly enough, the second blade looked a lot better. Go figure.
