A cat amongst the pigeons, a Fluid Amongst Empachers, or... HI HILLARY!!!!

Got really lost on the way home. Missed the thunder, sadly.

One (Sands) Bohrer

Two Bohrer

Three Bohrer! This may or may not be the first time that we've had three members of the same family race in three different boats, and maybe not even the first time this particular family had three representatives at HOK, but it's still pretty great.

At first, I thought it was just a random guy paddling. Definitely puts things in perspective.

And on a happier note, here's Mr. Benning heading to the line at HOK1. Actually got in-camera multiple exposures to work properly. Just point, click, crop and that's all. No photoshop or anything.

Meatwagon beat PBC on home waters, to win the 1869 oar.

The Ladiezzz also crushed it.

Greg beat up all the children.

Even the ones with gold medals from junior worlds.

And CB and Linda rowed sweep.. Wait, whut??? (Not that Linda doesn't have 3 World Titles with one oar, or anything).

Dark and early in the basin with the USLM2x

Chris and Peter bending the oars in the last 500

Early mornings are better with friends.

And I do mean early.

Sun did come out eventually

Wait, I know that guy..

Thanks to Tom for the ride.

Always helpful to have an extra set of eyes on you?

Congratulations, Diebold and Kim! Though now that they are both Diebolds...

They look very happy together

Never take yourselves too seriously.

And always have fun.

(Crimson) Pair convention in the basin

It's a beautiful night for a moondance.

Outtakes from Mary's photoshoot were also pretty good.

Tina left a trail in the dark.

Mary, dialing in her focus for Worlds.

These guys were all happy to help. (Mike, I know you said no suffering photos. But you just suffer so... photogenically.)

Always fun to ride along with Gregg in the launch.

The sun showed up occasionally

But took a lot of naps under the cloud blanket.

Empachers run the basin.

Nice night at Weeks two Thursdays ago.

Sunrise on the way home.

Mike putting the Empachers through its paces.

The Columbia Gorge fire turned the Portland sunsets very red.

Highly utilitarian medals for the post-race wine-tasting. Bernard Lagat was the overall winner. He's done some stuff in track and field, I've heard.

The mouth of the Columbia River. Washington State on the right, Oregon on the left, the Pacific Ocean in the distance in the middle.

Meet Rowan. He's got row in his name. We expect big things in the 2040 Olympic Cycle.

When visiting the Rose City...
