MIT Varsity was the first boat through Mass Ave to kick of the spring racing season and pull through to an 11 second win.

URI pulled out a 0.9 second win over MIT and Coast Guard a bit further back.

Not many fans on the bridge, but what they lacked in numbers was made up in flair.
