A personal tribute to the TDF and my supreme dorkdom. Yes, I made the bike out of modeling clay. Yes, it has aerobars. I refer you to second part of the tribute. The aerobars are there in obvious anticipation of tomorrow's individual time trial.

Lightweight men had the morning off, everyone else was at Nationals. Obviously we had to have a perfect morning to row. Suckers!!!

This State Police Officer is my hero. He actually stopped a power boat AND took away their beer. Honest. Saw it with my own two eyes. They were welling up with tears of gratitude at the time, but really, I saw it. OK, sarcasm aside, this is the first time all year I've seen a power boat pulled over. It was pretty nice, especially as I was cooling my heels in six inches of water deposited by another power boat's wake.

Pete and Heather dominated the mixed double--and they beat our time in the open double by 2 seconds. In my defense, Aleks had to race them with Laura in the mixed double first. Whaaaaaaaaaa....

Royal Arch, Boulder, CO. Hiking with semi-natives at altitude can get a little tiring.

Rowing shells sighted at the Boulder Reservoir. We were there for the Boulder Stroke and Stride. (Igor 3rd overall, Margaret 8th), full results here. We did the short swim version (750M, instead of 1500).
