Bag pipes at Newell. Harvard alums and 2012 Olympians on the water. Underscoring the breadth of the impact Harry had on our silly little sport.

Scullers circle.

Kathy, Abigail and (someone help) thanking those that came to Newell this morning.

He was, is, and always will be a legend in our sport. Here are just a few moments I've been fortunate enough to capture over the last few years.

This year, at Sprints. Harry looked so ... human. I remember his guys bear hugging him as he gave them their medals..The last Harvard Varsity of the Harry Parker era, they did him proud that day.

Sprints 2011. It was a very rainy, soggy day. And yet, he was beaming. And he may have winked at me before he went in. I came home that day thinking that if I never shot another frame again, I'd be quitting on a pretty high note.

Lest you forget, he was an oarsman, and an Olympian. Pictured here racing the 2012 HOCR Parent Child Double with his daughter, Abigail.

But above all, he taught so many oarsmen to row, to compete, and to love their sport. He loved what he did, and he did it incredibly well. Rest in peace, Harry.

Just another quiet afternoon on the Charles.

Harvard Square is turning out to be an excellent storm watching location.

Maybe Charley should save on gas, and just tie his launch to Andrew's single. Based on today's times, he clearly needs a challenge. :)

Russ, taking "buy local" to a whole new level, with a VanDusen, Drehers, and a Peinert t-shirt for good measure.

Longfellow Bridge, meet the "super" Moon. "Super" moon, meet the Longfellow Bridge. What's shaking?

Women's Sweeps in the basin.

Look, if I am getting up at 4:40 am to take photos, I am going to milk that morning for all it's worth. More from Tueday. UBC's Jim Keating and the basin.

The basin really should look like this all the time.
