Spooky sunrise from Saturday.

Having some fun with multiple exposures on Saturday morning

Pretty awesome light, too.

Emily took the race to the field, and finished second in the Women's Single. Which I am pretty sure makes her the only US woman to ever win two U23 medals in the single. (I think Andrew Campbell might be the only male sculler to do that). Well rowed! And with more eligibility left, I look forward to her completing the collection in 2019. :)

Congratulations to Sarah and Caroline on their World Championship in the U23 lightweight pair!

Riverside showing off on Thursday morning.

Thursday, July 26, 2018

Super sweet uni for Chris Wilkins, the bow of this University Games bound pair (Mac Manion in stroke seat).

Sun hitting Longfellow as the storm clears out. Oh and the rainbow was nice, too.

Harvard's Michael Yuan getting ready for the University Games, where he will race as the LM1x.

Great light, even if the water quality was bit challenging.

Pretty good blade work. And the paint job is not bad, either.

Thanks to Ian for the ride, he's been working with HVL for the last six years, so it was good to put a face with a name I've heard a lot.

Dan G--"I can steer a great course on the Charles. Jay--"Uh oh. Somebody is ... closer".

The perfect mix of sun and clouds

Small group on Saturday morning, due to the CBC Invitational, including Jim, the regatta director. :)

First light on the way to the basin

Saturday, July 21, 2018

Alexis and Ilana racing at the CBC invitational

Because why not have a quadruple bucket for a stake race????

Not sure why UBC decided to rock CRI red, but whatever floats your four

Gevvie, Jon, Mary and Jay powering down the (shortest possible, because Jay in bow) course.

Artym and Toby rowed at NBC as Juniors and were reunited on the Charles as the U23 LM2X

Artym doing some bending

Toby catching some rays

Katy keeping them out of trouble

Just a perfect morning

Good luck in Poland, boys!

Emily, getting ready to launch (setting the U23 World on fire is scheduled for next week).

First light is the best light.

Always helps to have a (VERY) fast friend!

Or two.

Guy in the launch is pretty good, too.

Love that dirty water.

Blurring the (finish) line. Have a great regatta, Emily!

Great morning to ride along with the US U23 LW4x, Janice(s), Liv, Grace and Elizabeth.

Isabella and Sophie in the US U23 LW2X.

Sarah and Caroline in the US U23 LW2-

And Brigid, the US U23 LW1X, who clearly hates everything about the single.

With some very high quality opposition getting ready for the Blackburn Challenge.

Jen and Jillian getting ready for the senior trials

As are Makayla and Liz(Go Tech!)

The man with the plan, Malcolm

Dave and Hash keeping an eye on the small boats.

BC four cruising by. And is that a Wyandotte thank in three seat?

No epic sunrise. Just a nice morning in the basin.
