I will be in North Carolina until further notice. If you can think of the opposite of vacation, that's what I'll be doing. In the meanwhile, if you could say a prayer, do some voodoo or come with some kick ass medication for my favorite vegan, triathlete, rowing photographer, and well, everything, I would really appreciate it. Allez, Margs!

Congrats to Heather in the single, el Jefe, Skip, Pedro and the Hashman in the four, Martha ,Carey, Ann, Ilse, Mary Foster, Alexis, Stef, Tina, and Heather in the eight, and the Jeff, Skip, Hash and Pete (again), plus Sean, Anders, Kit, Zouf and Leah for the eight. The light men's eight continues a winning streak which is now four years old. I am sure better pictures will be obtained at some point. Wish I was there. Really, really wish I was there. And a speedy recovery to Emerson, who had the misfortune to get hurt in Canada before racing in the eight. (Hence the picture in picture). Also, Ann and Carey were randomly selected as almost the only people in that eight who actually rowed sweep this year. :)

Now that it's been carried hands free, it's official-Jeff got a new boat. About time, the old one was almost as old as Hanley's.
I think a small sporting event started in Beijing today.

Recovering from a chest pull, biking through Harvard, MA. Chest pull obtained by playing little brother in basketball. Probably needed a break from rowing, anyway.
