days left until the Charles Party!

At least the skies were clear last night. Not so much today.

There was a lot of napping on the cape this weekend.. And maybe some half-marathon running, too. A 5 minute PR for Claire (1:45:52), and a not quite PR(1:30:04) for moi. Tess just followed a lot of interesting smells.

HPG women taking part in a study by some Harvard researchers.
Igor: Hillary, was facing each other part of the protocol?
Hillary: Nope. I just didn't want sun in my face.

Somewhat appropriate for today's graduation festivities at the brick clad campus next door.

Chris' many gifts include the ability to use a speed coach without a mount or harness.

Tuesday, May 25, 2010

Carey always looks so relaxed in the boat, and so intense out of it.. Oh, wait, I think it might be the other way around.

Monday, May 24, 2010

Zoom lenses from a launch could be very entertaining. I am sure Ilse always wanted a picture of just her arms, legs, and oars.

"Right pocket for Becca, left pocket for Gary. The Rabbi wants me to put Becca's ring in front of Gary, and Gary's ring in front of Becca. I think I got it?"
p.s. Go Tech! :)

Saturday, May 22, 2010

Congratulations, Becca and Gary! I am so happy for you two, and so honored to have been part of your wedding party. And you two sure know how to throw a party. :) (This was obviously NOT posted on Saturday night. )

Couldn't resist, looked really cool.

Wednesday, May 19, 2010

Princeton Lightweight head coach Martin Crotty went for a well deserved swim in Lake Q. I promise that by around Thursday I will stop posting pictures from this weekend.

Sunday, May 16, 2010

Back to the top--Harvard heavyweights took the points trophy and the varsity eight at the 2010 Sprints.

And Princeton lightweights were slightly less restrained in achieving the same lofty heights.

If you jump off of weeks, you might as well do it in style. Sprints photos to follow tonight.

Saturday, May 15, 2010

Who need NSR II when you got BSr II?

Though it would be nice to have some buoys, no?

And of course, good luck to all those racing at Sprints this weekend, be it Camden or Worcester(I'll be seeing the latter).

If you take route 2 to work, look left as you drive past the traffic light by Whole Foods.

On the line at BSRII. Somehow, shooting with a point and shoot from the boat just doesn't produce the same results as the 7D. Who knew???

Thursday, May 13, 2010

Not being at NSRII, have to resort to scenery shots. :)

Wednesday, May 12, 2010

Something about those Radcliffe women and Riverside lightweight men...

Bonus wildlife shot

Tuesday, May 11, 2010

Might be a bit early, but I am sure Tom will look like this tomorrow.

Monday, May 10, 2010

Yet another glassy water shot from May 1st. Filing as part of my protest for the 36-degree nonsense this morning.

Sunday, May 09, 2010

Blondes on the prowl. Oh, and Happy Birthday and stuff.

Harvard Square was kind of hideous on Tuesday night.

Beanpot. How many launches can you spot? :)

It's a little faint, but it's definitely a double rainbow!

Tuesday, May 04, 2010

It was a really rough morning in the basin on Saturday.

Monday, May 03, 2010

Charles River sunrise. RBC sculling group out before the collegiate racing starts.

Before

And after. Happy birthday to us! And thank you to our lovely hosts, and everyone who came.

They are the fastest women on the Charles, but what's up with letting the guests win???
