Dude, your 5th vertebrae is showing.

Sky color matching the oars on Saturday.

Trey is really enjoying this heat wave we are having.

The Green Building is home to EAPS (Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences, AKA Course 12). So the mini rainbow coming out of it this afternoon was a nice touch.

Northeastern and Cornell went stroke for stroke between Western and Weeks in Champ Eight. Both coxswains doing a great good job of keeping their line and not getting in each other's way.

Should have really worn my BAA shirt for this row. I guess I'll have to just do with the rainbow.

Western Ontario(bottom middle) had to earn their HOCR gold in the Men's Lightweight Eights.

Stuck my head outside for a few minutes yesterday morning. Needed some fresh air before editing the Youth Eights. Amazingly, not a single car in sight at 7AM.

Thought it would be fun to post all the great eights in one post.

After much arm twisting, our houst guest agreed to pose with his Paralympic Silver medal.

Fun fact, the para medals also make different rattling noises, depending on the color of the medal, so that visually impaired competitors can tell them apart.

It would have been cool to see these two win, but just seeing 7 Olympic medals, 5 of them from the single, and four of those gold row together was pretty awesome.

Monk Terry rowed his father's boat in the Senior Veteran Singles. (Might have been using his oars, as well). Pretty damn cool!

Erik Frid and Justin Keen sprang quite the upset in the Champ Double. While everyone was looking at the Olympians, PBC, and the Graves brothers, they delivered a 6 second win from the way back in the pack.

I SAID pull into your rib cage!!!

This might be my favorite shot from the entire weekend. Scullers rule the Charles, while the human frame looks on. Congrats Erin, Gevvie, Kimmy, Magdi, Carling, Jeannine, Sanita, Mirka, and Emma.

Hash went and walloped the field in the master's single. On a very tough day, he powered through the wind and the chop and made it look easy.

Huskies rise again. Apparently, UW is not dead yet. Passed an eight chock full of GB Olympic medallists before Weeks, and won by 12 seconds.

The Shimano quad piloted by Molly absolutely demolished the competition. Stesha added the big medal to her second place from the Champ 1x.

US Para Team (and friends) won the mixed eight by a 20 second margin (raw time). Well done, Dorian, Zach, Dani, Jackie, Jenny and Co.

Sean and Lauren won the mixed double.

Shout out to RVL (coached by Schwegs) for winning the light women's eight.

And to MIT for grabbing finishing third, their best HOCR result in some time, if I am not mistaken.

Sean and Pete dominated the Masters Double again.

Ashley and Sarah moved up to the top step of the podium

The meat wagon was the top club eight, and 5th overall

Paul, Andy, John Ernest and Lyssa won the Grand Masters Four.

Gevvie won her seventh Championship Single title.

Greg won at least his eleventh HOCR title (or at least he has 11 in the single and double)

And Linda and CB won their fourth straight in the Senior Masters Double.

Kjetil Borch won his 3rd Champ Single title.

And Kim and Emma won the double.

Jeff decided to pose with the signage.

Typical chaos.

Got to hang out with this great bunch this morning. Racliffe's Erin Driscoll in the coxwain's seat. Gevvie Stone, 2016 Olympic Silver Medallist, USA; Kim Brennan, 2016 Olympic Gold Medallist, Australia; Magdalena Lobnig, 6th, 2016 Olympics, Austria; Carling Zeeman, 10th, 2016 Olympics, Canada; Jeannine Gmelin, 5th, 2016 Olympics, Switzerland; Sanita Puspure, 13th, 2016 Olympics, Ireland; Mirka Knapkova Topinkova, 7th, 2016 Olympics, Gold 2012 Olympics, Czech Republic; Emma Twigg, 4th, 2016 Olympics, New Zealand. All single scullers. And a really fun group, too.

Cranking around the course.

Standard all world scenery shot.

Decent bladework

On both sides.

Thanks to Coach Stone and Coach Stone for the ride!

BC women rowing past an HOCR ready CBC and Director's tent, as the sun's last rays shine on the race course.

Foggy afternoon on the Charles? Mega weird.

All the colors of the fall at Sloan.
