If this is just the rehearsal, the main event should be pretty awesome.

Scenery is ok, too.

This qualifies for both rowing and scenery, no? (And I have to fly tonight, so this might be all you get).

Rowing is serious business, says Dr. Stone.

But much more fun with friends.

And when it starts like this, you really can't complain.

Work pager went off literally as I was about to step into Judith's launch. So here's a distant view of the elusive LW4X rowing into the sunrise.

MIT can call this whatever it wants, I am still going to call it Ashdown.

A long way from fully moved in, but a brief housewarming party was still in order.

Pierce Boathouse framed by my single and my oar. (Yes, I know, I need to paint my blades. See above. I've been busy).

Congratulations, Molly and Keziah on winning the senior double at Canley (and also to Sonshine and Claire for their 2nd place)

I don't actually think I've ever seen Jordi and Aviv rowing a pair, which makes them winning the u19 pair at Canley that much more impressive.

And now, some more fun from Tuesday's laser show.

It was beautiful sunrise.

So we tried to do a photo shoot

Then this happened

One of the annoying things about a beautiful summer Saturday morning sunrise is that most of us sleep in a little bit and either miss it or see it on a bleary eyed ride to the boathouse. Kudos to this sculler for making the foreground a bit more interesting.

Not that it really need all that much help.
