It was awesome to see Gevvie and Cicely show their power on the international stage. A phenomenal race with New Zealand, and a silver medal in their first international race together. Someone should really tell Cic that it's not supposed to be this easy, but I sincerely hope neither one of the listens and continues setting new benchmarks for the US W2X. Well rowed, both of you!

Got to cover the Harvard Yale race this weekend for Row2K. Pretty cool to watch the oldest intercollegiate event in the US from the good seats.

Gales Ferry was buzzing.

As was Red Top.

Harvard took the 3V in amazing come from behind fashion--down at the rock, ahead at the finish line. Best race of the day, by far, from the spectator perspective.

Harvard dominated the 2V, going wire to wire. The 2V octopus might be one of my all time favorite rowing photos. Certainly my favorite victory celebration.

But the main event belonged to Eastern Sprints and National Champion Yale Varsity.
