Sunrise in Hyannis a month ago. Yes, the photo update is imminent.

Style and substance. Charlie Hamlin threw a race together in 12 hours, after GMH was cancelled. I was too sick to race, so I am probably the only person in the world who was actually happy about the cancellation.

The auditions continue. It's kind of odd to see Will with two oars, and even more weird to see him actually looking pretty coordinated doing it. :)

Nice and quiet in the basin, as usual. Since a fair number of Charles River denizens read this, I am going to use this as my little soapbox: Please be careful out there. Yes, your practice head piece is extremely important, but it's not more important than the structural integrity of other boats and people.

Stan! We were roommates for six years, during which time I dabbled in photography, and Stan rode my trainer a few times, and never mentioned the words triathlon. Fast forward about four years, we now live on different coasts, and have in depth conversations about both f-stops and Zipp wheels. Guess we learned something from each other after all. :)

As much as you can steal the show at a wedding, Eugene's Aunt Valya and Uncle Grisha certainly came pretty close. Everyone was ranting and raving about both of their performances this morning.

On Saturday morning, Eugene realized that he was about to get married.

But he went and did it anyway. Congratulations, Eugene and Wenjun! Great everything, and really happy to be there and be part of it!
