Sorry, popups not coming from me (clearly). :( Try using your browser's pop-up blocker. Everyone else should bow down before the comic genius of Mike Farry.
Sorry, I think you're wrong. The popups are caused by Javascript code from the Nedstat Basic service (which appears in the source of your blog's top-level page -- presumably you added it there at some point). Here's an article about the popups generated by this service:
Even though I have a pop-up blocker installed in my browser, this Nedstat javascript code circumvents it, by opening the pop-up in response to clicks anywhere on the page (e.g. on one of your images or links). Disabling pop-ups when clicking on links breaks too many real sites to be practical, so almost noone goes that far.
I stand by the earlier statement that they are not coming from me. :)The counter is a different story though. :) I guess most daily users just go to the blog, look at the post and go on with the rest of their day, so not very many people have complained so far (like 2-3 total). I'll see if I can find a better alternative. Suggestions?
Haha that is awesome
ReplyDeleteCan you do something about the pop-ups on your blog, though? It's getting annoying.
ReplyDeletethis is amazing, totally just made my day.

ReplyDeleteSo updating to their latest counter seems to have solved the problem, but keep me posted if that's not the case.
