Affectionately known by his 5 kids, 12 grandkids(including Alexis) and 5(I think) great-grandkids as Grandpop, Peter Gers was laid to rest today. I only got to know him for a little bit, but even so, it wasn't hard to see why he was so loved by all. We are all pretty sure his Bettye is waiting for him on the other side of the pearly gates in a Cadillac.
