I went for a run at lunch today. When I came back, this was in the mail:
I mailed it back in this afternoon. And thus, I am more or less officially(I guess I need to hold the race number in my hands and not get injured) running the Boston Marathon for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. It's pretty fitting that I submitted the online entry request exactly three months after Margaret lost her battle with cancer. I wouldn't be running if it wasn't for her, but then again, I wouldn't be doing triathlons if it wasn't for, so she continues to push me, even now.
So if you'd like to support the LAF, and my trip from Hopkinton to Boston on April 20th, go here. If you are feeling particularly generous, all donations of over $100 will recieve these spiffy Team Margs hats. The minimum fundraising goal is $2500. I hope that WE can do better than that. Thank you for reading.

In 2002, I needed a ride to the Head of the Fish. The Passat was almost new at the time. I barely had a clue who the driver was. Now, six and half years and who knows many miles of "how much of a head start do you want?" later, the Passat is decidedly more beat up, but I definitely know who's driving it now.
I'll miss having both of you around, now that Tim doesn't have as much of a reason to come to Boston anymore. But I fully expect him to show up on any given Saturday, and convince me to row an extra three or four miles after I had already rowed ten or twelve, "because its fun". And it will be. And I expect Heather to show up the week before the Charles, and tackle NU eights through the weeks turn. :)

This isn't that bad for being taken with the little point and shoot, over my shoulder, while skiing. Tom wins the good sport award for not using poles at the time the picture was taken. (Out of sympathy for the sculling fool who was not using poles due to the shoulder injury. Which is WAY better now.)

Taken right next to Weeks footbridge. This is getting closer to on topic--at least it's taken by the Charles.
The Breckenridge/Snowmass/Aspen/Denver trip is now online.
